Buddha 99 started as a duo with Joshua Reed (Driffield, The Confounded, Josh and the Jet Noise) and Cory Miller (Obsidian Throne, Driffield). Josh wrote the songs and played all the guitars and handled vocal duties while Cory held down the rhythm section by taking drums and bass duties. Tolling away recording for over a year and a half, the duo reached out to find a permanent bass player, finding the whiz David Dunn (Driffield, 4 Pistol Front), and singer to play live.

Unfortunately, things didn't work out and the music that Josh and Cory wrote and worked on together never saw the light of day... Until now.
